Richard Simmons and I
I am in one of my restless moods and I always clean for therapy or to think. Well while digging, I found an old VHS tape of a visit to OKC by Richard Simmons, years and years ago. My sister and I both ended up on the stage with him.....I was watching it and could not believe it was me. I thought I was so heavy then and man I looked great!! I looked like Olivia Newton John with the whole headband thing....It is amazing how we never see ourselves for how we look.....I am getting out my purple tights, my purple shorts and my purple shirt and headband to relive that moment, as soon as I get to my goal!!! (I looked like a purple grape) My one regret in that video is that I should have had a better bra on...How embarrasing the bouncing was!! I still have that issue!! lol I am going to watch that every day to keep me motivated!! Odd thing was it was for the Baptist Heart Hospital!! Now 3 stents later I'm ready to dance again!!
I think he is on crack or something! lol His hair is still just as crazy in that video....I am going to try to put it on a CD and then will put it on here somehow. I wish I could remember how long ago it was....I was actually one of the aerobic instructors at the WMCA in Bethany. Man how life has changed....Well....it is changing again soon!!! Richard is the biggest geek in the world, but I still like him!
