Surgery Scheduled

I cant believe its finally going to happen:  I went to my pre-op appointment worried that I wouldnt be at my goal weight even though I knew I could still schedule if I was a few pounds off.  I went down there knowing that I was 2 pounds off and praying that those two pounds would dissappear and sure enough when I stepped on that big old scale I was right on target.  I could not believe it I was in utter disbelief.. I did it!!!  Now comes that fun part of keeping it off, but I know I can do it as long as I stick with my diet until surgery....   I have to say this weekend is hard seeings how its my 25th bday sunday and im going to party hard tonight.  I figure I mine as well go for one last hurrah!  

This isn't the last hurrah! You'll have many, many of those even after WLS or especially after WLS when you experience the wow moments.

I am so happy that you have made the decision to do this at a younger age. That is my only regret..that I didn't do this much sooner.

I was going to say the same thing... Don't think of it as your last hurrah~ Nor were any of your favorite foods your "last meal".  Things do change, but they are not gone forever.  You'll enjoy things in a different and better way after your WLS~  Happy 25th Birthday, girl!

 WHAT A GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR YOURSELF!! CONGRATULATIONS!!

Congrats!  I knew you would make it - I had every confidence in you!  Just don't gain or you know what they'll do!  I decided on 2 days of liquids before surgery just to be sure and the weight really came off well.  I was actually 5 pounds under my pre-op weight!
