Well, I went to UNT which is now in the same conference (I think )as OU/OSU but I'm really not a fan of anyone-I just like to watch a good football game.  I always rooted for OU when I lived in Texas, but it was more to irritate the Texans than to uplift OU.....LOL.

I am the type of person who cheers for OU when they are playing anyone BUT the Cowboys...Then the orange comes out strong!
Since all my money went there...I'll cheer!

Oh I am so glad you posted this! I have 2 pugs and I was wondering when puggerfest was. We missed it last year and I know the girls would enjoy it. I will probably take them out there so could help with a booth for a bit. Had an emergency with one of the pugs last night -- they have been fighting and one has/had a large hematoma on her one ear. Last night the fawn pug tore open the hematoma on the black ones ear. It was pouring blood. I am a nurse, but not a vet! I ran to Walgreens for bandages and about an hour later finally had it bandaged appropriately to where she could not get it off. Now to figure out how to get the fawn pug to leave her alone so it can heal!

This doesnt help, but I was trying to thing about how to muzzle a pug-and I got a vision of you fastening a colander on her head like a space helmet....LOL.

Hmmm, maybe with some electrodes for shock therapy. Not really, I am not cruel to animals. But I can't for the life of me figure out what the one pug has against the other one's ear! She goes after the same ear every time! It is not going to be good if I have to keep them apart for good!

Ear nipping is what some females do to assert dominance.  When Priss starts in with that-I flip her over on her back and keep her there while the other dogs sniff at her and Priss relaxes.  NEVER do this if you don't have control of the other dogs because it can trigger more agression, and you or the first dog may end up getting hurt.

If both dogs are fighting-then put them both down on their backs until they relax.

It's also important to know who is starting it-it's not always the dog that bites that is doing the initial troublemaking.

The dog that is biting is definitely the troublemaker. It is much more serious than nipping. You should have seen the size of the hematoma before it bled out! You definitely don't want to get in the middle of them when she starts fighting either.
Belle's ear is still wrapped -- my daughter in law used to work for a vet and came over and helped me. We are keeping the 2 dogs separated for now. Apart they are both good dogs. The black, smaller one is more timid. The fawn, larger one still has not lost her puppy hyperness -- long overdue!
