Found a bargain for dinner tonight

I was in no mood for cooking tonight.  I drove through Fazzzoli's drive through for dinner.  They sold me 4 meatballs in marinara sauce for $1.25.  Yippee, 2 meals for a buck twenty five.  What a deal.  And, it fixed my Italian longings.  The meatballs went down really and seem to be settling there well too.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Darn, no Fazolis here either! For my Italian fix I make the Ricotta bake. It is the best part of the lasagna anyway, and I don't miss the pasta!

You are brilliant!  Long John Silvers used to sell me three shrimp for like a buck, but now they have that scewer thingy so I order it.

Yes, fast food remains a part of my life.

That's awesome Denise.  I went out with my DH and some friends a couple of weeks ago and they wanted to go to Primo's D'Italia in MWC.  That was always one of my favorite places before WLS but I have avoided it since.  My DH gets my favorite chicken picatta but I ordered 2 meatballs and the waitress just freaked out.  I could only eat one and took one home for later.  It was awesome as well.  I did eat some of my DH's salad too.  It's amazing the money we're saving eating out as well as the grocery store.  In my efforts my DH has also lost about 30 pounds just because I don't buy crap and he eats what I buy and prepare.  It's a win win for us both!  Have a good one Denise.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

I TRIED A MEATBALL A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND OF COURSE I COULDN'T EAT IT ALL BUT IT LEFT ME FEELING A LITTLE SICK SO I HAVEN'T TRIED IT AGAIN. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS A LITTLE TOO SAUCY FOR ME BUT I WILL TRY IT AGAIN LATER. I LOVE THAT YOU CAN GET 2 MEALS FOR THE PRICE OF 1. THAT MAKES US CHEAP DATES, HUH?

I *love* doing this!  Most Italian restaurants will do this as well, fixing it up with lots of ooey gooey mozerella and parmesean as well, if you so request.  Also, McD's will sell ya just a grilled chicken breast really cheap as well.

YUMMY! I love meatballs! It's funny that before surgery meatballs were just you know, meatballs, nothing special. Now I eat them all the time! I make them myself though...I even make the sauce! And they are great with some parmesan cheese on them.
