Well folks I'm still around and still fighting some crud.  I am able to get my liquids in and even eat a very little bit but they still can't figure out why I keep having extreme pain in my left shoulder and neck.  It is the most stupid of things because sometimes I can burp huge burps and the pain will lessen in my shoulder and then sometimes (like today) the pain has been here all day since 4:00 am this morning and I honestly just want to pull my hair out.  I have tried everything to try to get the air in my stomach to go away and the pain to leave but I don't know what else to do.  It is very frustrating because the pain is awful.  I don't want to take pain meds cause they upset my poor pouchie, who is already not very happy with me either.  I did see my GP yesterday and he ran a slew of labs to see if I am nutritionally deficient, so at least we'll find out if this is starting to affect me adversely.  Please keep me in your prayers cause I am getting very frustrated and the pain is depressing me something fierce.

Thanks.

Kim, my heart really goes out to you.  I am so sorry this has been such a struggle.  I believe once these things are behind you, you will be so pleased with your new life.  It just sucks that you have had so much difficulty.  I'm thinking of you! -Amy

I'm so sorry for all that you're going through. I will pray that the pain will end soon. I will pray for wisdom for the doctor(s), because the Bible says, "If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives it liberally and upbraids not [doesn't get angry]." The answer is on its way!
Blessings,
Mary

I actually put a heating pad on it tonight.  I tried the chiropractor once but I was in so much pain I could hardly relax enough for her to adjust me.  Then the ER docs didn't want me to go back so I haven't, but I sure have thought about it.  And my super sweet hubbie has rubbed my shoulder and back so many times I've lost count.  Sometimes it hurts so bad, I even try to rub it myself.  It really sucks.

I really wish you the best and hope the pain goes away.  I do hope there is not something else inset in that cause when you say left shoulder and neck my medical education I am getting kicks in and goes OH SH*T if you know what I mean.  The doctors are MUCH MUCH more experienced than me though and i know they will find out what the problem really is and you will get past this.  Good luck and God Bless

Thanks everyone.

This morning is better so far.  I wore the heat wrap all night and the pain is much better.  I am still getting my fluids in but the eating is still a little scarce.  I have been trying to do little amounts more often just so I can get in some nutrition.  I was happy to see that I am 25 lbs. down as of this morning so that helps me get through the hard times.  I really appreciate everyone's support and I love you all.

Ok, I will just ask.....What about your Gall Bladder? Do you still have it?  I do know that can be a problem....Also, I will ask this....what about your heart. I know I had a great EKG....I had a good stress test and still the pain. I made them go in and look at my heart and I had a blockage. They kept saying it was GERD. I was on two reflux meds a day, so it wasn't that. I had to fight them to get the Angio. He found an 85% blockage. I pray it's neither of those....but if you have insurance...make them start ruling things out.  I have found today, that I am becoming quite assertive when it comes to my medical professionals! I know my body and my Doc knows that ,so she listens to me when I fear something is wrong... I am the one who caught my Lactic Acidosis from my diabetic meds. I actually saved my own life on that one. I also had to insist on the angio, but it took me 2 months to get them to believe me and find my blockage. You know your body and something is wrong. I am praying for you!! Hang in there.  Sherry
