Update on me

I'm doing better and better every day.  I still have one incision that is very sore though! 

I have read over and over again that people have soreness on the "left" incision, but that isn't the case with me!  It is the one in the middle of my tummy to the right!  That is where my gallbladder was and I'm thinking maybe he had to tweak it around some weird way to get to the gall bladder?  I don't know...

All of the incisions look good though.  No redness or oozing.  I can't wait for the glue to fall off.  When does that happen?

I have 7 incisions, which I think is more than usual?

It was over 2 weeks before all the dermabond was off my incisions! I thought it was there for good!

It was probably 3 weeks before all my derma bond came off.  I did use little scissors and clipped the lose edges.  I thought it was such awesome stuff!

Weird place for you to be sore but, hey, that just shows you that we are all so different!  You will get better and better every day!  And skinnier and skinnier!

Yes, 7 is unusual.  They usually do 6.  Maybe you were just extra special and needed another!

Yeah I was going to say it was about 3 weeks or so for me.  I remember sitting in my recliner SLOOOOOOWLY trying to peal some of it off.  I don't recommend anyone doing that though, lol.

I am glad to hear that you are doing well.  I also had 7 incisions and it took about 2 or 3 weeks for all of the glue to come off.  I did cut off the extra when it started coming off.  I had soreness on my left side incision for a few weeks also.  It finally went away.
