Attention Tulsa peeps - from the OKC peeps! Walk From Obesity-Sept 27

We are headed in for the Walk From Obesity on September 27.  Looks like most of us are going to break away from work a little early on Friday afternoon, September 26 and head to T-Town.  We are hoping to have dinner with the Tulsa folks and make it our own little eat, meet and greet that night!

The walk will be on Saturday morning at 9AM - have to be there at 8:30AM.  Then after the walk, I have no idea what's going to be going on.

I suggested we try to stay in a 2-bedroom hotel like maybe Residence Inn or something.  I know there are about 8 of us so far, hopefully more.

Maybe somebody in Tulsa could suggest a hotel close to where the walk is going to be?  And also suggest a place to have dinner on Friday night?

Really looking forward to it and let me know what you think!

I forgot to ask, do we get to bring our coloring books?

Coloring supplies will NOT be supplied by the Walk.  They may be picked up in Tulsa!  LOL!

For whoever wants to set up the dinner in Tulsa...  (taking volunteers)

You might want to look for a place that has a separate room for parties or something.  Think about how many will be there and how loud the OKC people can get!

oops!!  did I say that out loud?  err...  I mean, think of how loud ALL OF US can get!

Just an idea...

I'm sure you could bring the coloring books as long as you leave your crayons at home!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

If you all do a good job of coloring I will give you all a sticker!!!

As for hotels....I will look into that....since that is so close to downtown the only hotels in that area are very high dollar.

I refuse to bring my colors!!!  You guys will want to share them and then you'll break them or take their coats off.  I just can't have that happening!!  They are MY colors and I will not share them with the likes of YOU diva's!!!!

You do not play well with others!  Why can't you share?

You just never know where those darned colors have been and whose hands have been using them!

I like keeping my colors close to my personal being!!  I like to count them and track them and make sure they are all returned to their box nice and orderly!

I was never taught to play well with others - that's the joy of being the baby of the family!  No one cared by then!!  But I ALWAYS had my colors!  And they were mine mine mine!!

Now, depending on whether the colors want to be USED by others...that could be a whole different story!  Sometimes colors have their own agenda and don't really care what their owners want to do!

We could also make an assumption that in MY box of colors there are no variations of ORANGE allowed.  But every variation of RED is required!  The more red the BETTER the box of colors!

But then I am a COLOR HO and very selfish to boot!!    roflmao!

I'm going to check with the vet next week and see if it would be safe to leave Moonie by then (he'll have most of his shots done).  If so, I'm in for going down on Friday.  There may be a reptile show in town that weekend.......mostly just kidding.  I have two more kiddos coming in September and I'm on extreme LOCKDOWN unless I find something too wonderful that must be had.

I was actually already on extreme LOCKDOWN but someone I respect a lot was going a different way in his collection so I picked up a couple of pythons that don't fit his plans but just blow me out of the water.
