OK SO I GUESS I WON'T EVEN GO NEAR THE LO MEIN NOODLES AT THE CHINESE PLACE! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT AT MAKING SOMEONE FEEL GUILTY ABOUT A CRAVING. THANKS AND I MEAN THAT! I CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON YA TO GIVE ME SOME GREAT ADVICE AND SOME GREAT TIPS. I WILL HAVE TO GET ME SOME CHINESE WITHOUT NOODLES. THEY ALREADY KNOW ME AS THE ONE THAT DOESN'T ORDER RICE SO NOW I CAN BE KNOWN AS THE ONE THAT DOESN'T WANT NOODLES EITHER. BUT THAT'S OK BECAUSE THERE IS PLENTY TO EAT WITHOUT ALL THAT STUFF.

I tried those tofu noodles once-now I can eat anything-and I couldn't eat these.  I love tofu, but there was just something wrong about these.  I pretty much avoid noodles in general, well maybe a few of the little glass noodles at the pho house, but they can be tricky to eat.......just saying.....A noodle that gets hung up can be an ugly thing.

I've had beef and broccoli a couple of times.  Oh- and the guts from an eggroll!  Yummers!  I plan on having chicken and snowpeas soon.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I'm with Denise on this one...brocolli and chicken and snowpeas, miso soup, and lots of edamame make great choices for us special WLS people....  (some people are more "special" than others "if ya know what I mean...")...

Miso is the only thing that got me through the rough times....  never liked it before, but now it's a life saver...  (along with the zero carb green bean....yummy and low cal and no fat.....it's magic)

I've always liked Miso, but after this last stomach issue, it's got a place in my heard forever.  The salty seaweed is kind of like gatorade, only not sweet.

In the winter I like to drop an egg (without the shell) into a boiling cup of miso.  That's not only tasty, it has staying power.

I am so glad this group set you straight on the noodles! There is not even a gray line I guess when it comes to the rules. I personally am a rebel child, known to break rules, so this is going to be difficult for me to follow. I am sure hoping the board will be standing ready to kick my butt when I even think about it! What is hard is that some Dr's allow some pasta, and some bread.... By the way, your avitar makes me laugh every time!! I love it! It is so candid and cute!  Sherry
