School has started again
And noone even recognizes me! The last time any of my professors saw me was last spring, right after I had my surgery, and these are professors that I've had for years.... I've gotten so many double takes and long hard looks to make sure that it is me, it's kinda funny. I guess I didn't realize exactly how much of a difference a summer makes after WLS, but I've gotten so many compliments from my friends...One of them, she just laughed when she saw me, and said if I don't stop, I'm gonna disappear. LOL, I never really thought about it like that before, but I guess 3 months makes a pretty big difference...I'm super excited!

The REAl reason they don't recognize you is becuse before, you were only cute and cuddly....
now you're downright delictable and delicious...
Seriously, you're only gonna be more beautiful as this thing progresses, just don't forget about the good guys out there. They make much better choices that those fun "badboys"...not to mention, badboys have a hardtime paying the bills, while good guys want to give you things that make you feel like a princess. You're gonna have a lot of boys follwing you this year! Mark my words...

How neat! Sometimes we need that outside confirmation that we are doing well. I know it is hard to tell a difference in people you see every day but when it has been a while the diffference is so significant. Good work, kiddo! Enjoy classes! I love going to school- wish I could afford a PhD.

Way to go, girl! School starts for our kiddos tomorrow. I'm enjoying all the comments from co-workers and people from the board who don't know me. I was in Best of Books this week, and they introduced themselves to me. Then when I told them my name, their mouths fell open. I hadn't seen them since before surgery, so it was a difference.
