Local ???
I actually recognize your face from somewhere. I have my initials at the end of this month and then they fax insurance for apporoval. I don't se any problems arising with the insurance, as they already told me that weight loss surgery was covered. Getting real anxious. I am having a hard time being patient. If you don't mind, can you tell me exactly what it is like after surgery. What all do you have to go through?
Actually it was a breeze for me. Surgery on Wed. came home Thurs. about 1:00 and napped. Had some issues with gas but heating pad took care of that in a couple of days. Was a little sore for about 3-4 days but after that was good to go. Liquids were a pain but I made it. You will be up and walking 2-3 hours after surgery and that helps a lot. Day 3 at home I vacuumed twice to get my walking in. At 10 days out had more energy than I've had in along time. Dr. B took me off of BP meds and Diabetes meds before I left the hospital. Have had no problems with either since. After surgery you just have to walk and sip, and all will be good. Hope this helps. Cindy
You sure can !!!! Love to hear from those local and all around the state that have had the surgery. I am just starting and am really anxious to get it done. Love the town of edmond, ust hard to find my way around. Glad my hubby is driving. Did your insurance make you go through a Dr. supervised diet before your surgery and if so how long?
Hey Salem! You picked a great surgeon. Which procedure did you decide on? This is a great place to ask questions and get support. Congratulations on already losing your pre-op weight. Dr. Walton will be so proud of you!
I live in Edmond so if I can be of any assistance, please let me know. I would be happy to help!
