Rita, prayers fly on wings of Angels. They will be there before you are. I pray that it is all in God's hands as he is the one in control. I will also pray for peace for you.  Sherry

Rita, I am praying for you and your Mom.  I know these are hard times but God will see you through it.  Let us know if you need anything at all.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Sorry to hear about your mom, Rita.  Also sorry you are having to cut your trip short.  I'll be thinking about you, your mom, and your family.

Keep us posted on your mom.

Love,
Dot

Prayers for healing, prayers for strength.  Take care.

Sometimes Rita, they want to go alone-they wait for that moment.  Whatever happens, know that it is what should have happened.

Thanks every one for your prayers. They worked. I made it back home and Mom is better today. Yesterday she was non responsive and just not doing well. I really had a hard decision to make because I planned this trip for so long and my daughter and I had so many things planned. I was going to wait it out a day or so, but knew I wouldn't be able to live with myself if she passed and I wasn't here. She is tons better today but not out of the woods. She will never be okay again. I actually lost my Mother almost 2 years ago. She still knows who I am but doesn't know where she is or why she is there. She is certainly tough and has out lived her odds. I so needed this vacation to get away from the past couple of years. However, I am a firm believer that God has a plan and this is how he wanted it. I am very grateful for the 2 whole days that I had away and good times spent with my daughter. I will try to be back on the boards again in a couple of days. Thanks again, Rita

Rita- glad your Mom is doing better! I think you are a great lady for dropping everything and rushing back to her. I pray you have a chance to get away again soon and that your Mom will stabilize - Hugs

Rita, I am glad you had some time away-it certainly helps doesn't it?  I think caring for an ailing loved one is when many of us finally and truly realize we are not in control of everything-only our reactions.
