On Topic-Tiny Tummy Alert

As restriction has kicked in-I've taken advantage of the smaller quantities to add back some higher fat treats-

Do this at your own peril.  I sat down with my food logs and realized my reflux isn't coming from the band it's coming from my diet.  I'm making adjustments and hope that I can work through it without getting a slight unfill, cause I like my restriction level.

Also after Tuesday's fly in the ceviche incident, I haven't been able to eat meat-so I've been making due with cheese and sunflower butter and nuts.  Now, calorie wise, I've been ok, but tummy clearly is protesting.

Remember, it isn't realistic to think you are going to break a lifetime of bad eating habits in a few weeks-it's all trial and error and just keep moving on.

For me, the best way to think about it is like Glitter Gal says-tiny tummy is in charge-don't let your head tell you how much to eat, let tummy do it.  Our part is the what to eat and sometimes tummy has something to say about that as well....LOL.

You are so right about bad habits!

being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it

I've got "soymilk" made out of almonds....LOL.

I honestly had some warning, but disregarded it-so i had a lovely evenng last night....I'm hoping the bland stuff today will get me a good night's rest and all will be well....and I need to get over the fly and start eating meat again.

Speaking of flies----about a week ago my DH got me a latte from McDonald's.  I've never had one before so I just wanted one sip.  I took off the lid and took a sip and something bumped against my lip.  I thought maybe it was a lump of powered mixture that didn't dissolve but it was a fly!!!  I sent them an email and haven't heard a word from them.  Guess they don't care.

Don't send an e-mail, call the store or area manager.  I call them when the kid at the window gives me a wet sticky drink and I usually get some free coupons or something.  Most places want your business.  donna
