Would it be inappropriate to kiss an attorney in the courtroom?

As I was cutting through a courtroom this morning on the way to docket call one of the sweetest, nicest, kindest, -- okay, I'm going overboard -- attorneys said, "Good morning, Skinny."  So, now the dilemma -- is it inappropriate to kiss him?  I held back this morning because I was so shocked he said it.  But I am definitely tempted !!!

Smile back and say "we need to go have coffee soon so I can kiss you for that".......
