There are more in my misc critters photo file...including the face of the creature whose tail you see here....but look at that perfect stalk-is that a dog or is that a DOG?

Meet Moon-(Blastoff Blue Moon Doggie)-my new border collie pup.

Deb - Moon is gorgeous!  What great eyes.  I suggest that I need to field trip to your house to see all the livestock!

All of your doggies are adorable!

I'm really excited about him-he's like a little dog Ferrari.

That is too funny!  He does look like the Ferrari of dogs and he sure got lucky when you brought him home!

Your babies are gorgeous!  Your Oliver looks like my Scooby.  What is Oliver?  We've never figured out what Scooby is- he was a pound puppy.

Oliver's father was a largish (10 pounds or so) fawn colored short coat chihuahua.  His mother appeared to be a schnauzer/dauschund mix, only larger-she was built like Oliver, but kind of a brindle color-with the shaggy coat.  Sometimes poodle mixes can get a wirey coat but I'm pretty sure his is schnauzer in origin.....he's got a big old schnauzer schnoz-looks better now that he's grown a beard.

My neighborhood has a lot of schnauzers/dauschunds, and these were just back yard, running loose dogs.

What's really sad is there are several places that have 5 dollar spay/neuter vouchers, but these people would rather just hand out puppies in the parking lot.  Ollie was worm ridden and had pretty bad intestinal upsets when I got him, he was also anemic.  I really doubt any of the other puppies made it, because he required a lot of care and no one wants to spend money on a "free dog"....Ok, sorry, you got me started.

Is Scooby sweet natured?  Oliver is a very "soft dog"....wants to play and please, but will just fold if you scold him.
