Walk From Obesity - Sep. 27 in Tulsa

The walk in on Saturday, September 27 at 9AM.  They request that you be there by 8:30AM and the walk is a mile and a half.  It will be held at Riverwest Festival Park at 21st and Jackson and the registration fee is $25.00 whi*****ludes a t-shirt.  (lots of sizes!)  They ask that you get people to sponsor your participation in the walk as this is a fundraiser to raise awareness of the disease of obesity, childhood obesity and morbid obesity.  I'm sure this is optional if you don't want to get sponsors.

I would be happy to fax or email the registration form to you or you can download it on www.walkfromobesity.com .  Make sure you select the Tulsa area walk!

I would like to organize those of us that are interested from the OKC area to carpool to Tulsa.

That is an awesome idea!  It would be a really great place to do community service.  Plus there will probably be lots of hot chicks there!  (besides the hot chicks in your harem!)

I'm in IF IF IF I score the weekend off or the day off.  I won't know for a couple more weeks, but right now I haven't a clue.  I was supposed to be on the volunteer staff last year and I ended up in the hospital the week before hand with the wonderful gastric bleed.  I just didn't have the energy to go.  Darn it!

We'll just have to see..I am at the mercy of the cell Gods!!!  roflmao

I wont be going....When Dr. Keith and his office cancelled the annual fashion show for his patients to do the walk alot of us who signed up decided not to show our support for the walk. I can not imagine doing a walk then going for the Ball afterwards...To all that are going good luck and  drink your water....
