Thomas, I am worried about you!  Call Weight Wise on Monday morning!  Don't mess around with this.  I don't know if the issue is physical or psychological (fear of pain maybe?) but you must eat food.  You need the sustenance for your body and your mind.  The human body was not designed to live on protein shakes.  You need to resolve this problem so you can return to a more normal life style.

Keep posting so we know how you are faring!

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Dear Thomas, I think you are getting some excellent advice. They are much more knowledgable then I, so go with it and do what is in your very best interest. Your a business man, if the situation involved a business you would find a way to make it work..right. Best of luck, sweetie.

Thomas, you were already changing when you were here. I saw you on the day before your surgery and then at the support group and the changes were amazing! Now having said that, I am worried too. I have no advice except to say listen to the pro's on here. They are experienced in all of this.....I will just do the worrying. It does sound unusual compared to all of the ones on here, but yet, you are still early out so....I will just tell you to do what they tell you on here and then listen to your own body. Know we all care about you and pray for you too....Sherry

I have had bouts of that, usually after a "bad experience".  And also, I'm a bit lazy when it comes to cooking-and why bother if I can only eat 1/2 a cup....and I hate leftovers....and who has time....

These are just some of the thoughts that run through my head.  Now, you've had a different surgery so you have malabsorption, but getting into the habit of drinking calories is a hard one to break and will bite you on the butt in the end.  (ok, that didn't sound right)

It is very tempting to just enjoy the lack of interest, but I do commend you for working on it now, because it is something that should be examined.
