The first time in 22 years.......

I know that we all have a time when it's absolutely necessary to wear the panty hose.  I hadn't even thought about how much easier it will be to put them on!!!  I've ruined many in my time due to the pulling and sweating and then frustrated....  I'll have to buy a smaller size but I for one will only wear them as needed.  I don't think I've had a pair on in a couple of years.  I wear dress pants and business suits to work and also to church.  I'm so glad too!!

Oh my gosh!  The lack of food has finally gone to your brain!!!! Panty hose?!!!!  Actually, I would love to wear a pair (not in 100 degree weather) and not feel like I am going to have a stroke or heart attack just trying to get them on....oh my I am flashing back to the "panty hose dance" I used to have to do to get those suckers on!!

LOL that's probably why I'm wearing the suckers because they slipped on so easy and I didn't have to do the panty hose dance.

I dropped panty hose wearing a long time ago! I do have some thigh highs with garter belts..Wait no...not anymore. Heck, I wore a long dress at my DD's wedding and needed no hose.  I don't care that I have mayonnaise legs either! If people don't like 'em, they don't have to look at 'em.

However, I might try them with knee boots later in the year. I'll let ya know, but meantime...remember it's summer!!! in Oklahoma!!! Satan indeed invented those puppies.

Rita, I remember when I worked at a bank back in the eighties and we were REQUIRED to wear hose every fricken day.  It was HELL!  I was only about 20 to 30 pounds more than I am right now and on summer days I would get so sweaty that I literally was in the bathroom fanning myself to try to dry myself off enough to pull the damn things up!  Everyone hated the hose rule even if they weighed 90 pounds!  And don't even mention the days I was on my period!!!  It was enough to send me off on a PMS murdering rampage!!!  I got smart and started wearing knee highs with longer skirts.  My friends would tease me if the wind caught my skirt and they saw I was wearing knee highs but I couldn't care less.  In the 70's we burned bras...well..I didn't but my mom did...lol and I think we should definitely have a panty hose burning ceremony...they kind of went out with a whimper...I say we send them off with a huge bonfire....NEVER TO RETURN AGAIN!!!  Pasty white legs unite!!!

Good for you!  I love panty hose.  I know the bare leg look has taken over, but I see very few "over 30" legs that look good on their own.  Which is why I wear pants or long near ankle skirts most of the time (Hah).  Don't want to scare the innocent.  However, I definitely plan to be wearing more dresses in the fall this year and panty hose again will be a staple.  - Carol.
