The egg... in 10 words or less...

OK, so I made it. Not gracefully I might add.... but i made it through the 15 day hell of liquid diet. I went to Walmart (which i haven't done in like 3 weeks) and bought some "Real Egg" and some shredded cheddar. My mom gave me this little bitty pan just for eggs and it worked perfectly to make a mini omlet with about 7 shreds of cheese in the middle. I ate it... savoring every single little bitty bite. It was great! So my ten words or less are:

Eggs: the best thing I have eaten in my life!

at least so far....

and they didn't make any magical returns! woo hoo!

Congrats on eggland!  I'm glad it was a good experience.  Wait until you try ff refried beans.  Yum!  Yum!  Yum!  Da best!  I couldn't eat the beans from Bueno or Bell at first - I guess because of the fat.  But if you buy the lf or ff kind you should be good to go.

Keep us posted!

Isn't it amazing what that little oval can be!  I still resort to an egg when I can't decide what to  have.  But, as was said earlier, wait til you try the refried beans with cheese !  One thing I do is take cheddar cheese and cook it in a pan until it becomes crisp.  Then dip it in the beans !  It gives you a crunch, plus takes some of the oil out of the cheese !  You'll be amazed how much more you taste the food now that you can only eat a little.  A whole new world !

Eggs and ff refried beans are some of my faves! I love a good hard-boiled egg in my salads and just plain with cheese on the side.

ok folks, as ya all know my son likes to experiment in the kitchen. here is his latest invetion... he calls it the Eggarito

cook 1 egg like your making an omelett (he added pepper), the on one half put about a teaspoon of ff refried beans. a little bit of cheese(he used cheddar). fold in half and cook til cheese is melted.. serve with salsa(mild for me) its actually very good.... personally i was suprised! hope it still tastes good after surgery..

I'M SO GLAD IT WENT WELL FOR YOU. MY FIRST EGG TASTED SO GOOD THAT I ATE IT TOO FAST AND IT DID MAKE A NOT SO MAGICAL APPEARANCE. MY ONLY ADVICE IS TO EAT VERY VERY SLOW AND YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. I HAVE SINCE THEN EATEN AN EGG EVERY MORNING FOR BREAKFAST AND IT HAS BEEN GREAT. GOOD LUCK ON THE BEANS ALSO!!

Bean report:

Taco Bueno pintos and cheese were not the best idea. About four bites and I was done... it made me feel a little sick and that just isn't worth the food. Oh well.... there are always other alternatives... like tuna.... or canned chicken and ff mayo.... its gonna be ok!

I just thought I would tell you guys a little trick we did when I was on Weigh****chers. We would cook eggs in a muffin pan. Then I would throw them in zip lock baggies and have breakfast or a snack for a couple of days. Pop em in the microwave for about 30 seconds and you are ready to roll.
