Once the GYN rules out anything serious...then I'd go see the PCP. I do know that ginger is used by the pilots that fly the planes upside down and all over. They can't have anything that will make them sedated so they use that for airsickness. We also used it on a cruise and it helped alot! I got some lemonaid drink at Walmart and it has ginger in it....I got it for after my surgery....when I ever get to have it! My daughter who was preg took the pills to help with morning sickness too...Maybe it would help.I'm sure pregnancy is not an issue here! haha You can get it at Walmart. Man that sucks!! I do hope you feel better soon.....Maybe it is one of those things that will pass soon. Are you having any pain in your stomach or mid back....I know I had awful nausea with my gallbladder before they took it out.....Ok this Dr. will hush now with the diagnosing!! Take care!

Denise - I also know nothing about hormonal inbalance (don't worry my time will come!) but I hope you get the lab tests really really quick! I could not imagine teaching a classroom of kids and feeling at your best! So, just sending good wishes...(((((HUGS)))))

I wish I could help you, but I don't have any good advice.  I think I'd see the gyn and my PCP until I got an answer.  I hope you feel better soon.

When I get nauseaous, I drink flat 7 Up.  I don't know if that helps you, though.  I'll keep you in my prayers.  donna

Denise, I am sorry that you feel so yucky.  This may be a long shot, but they make wrist bands with a pressure point that prevents motion sickness and they work very well for a lot of people. In the hospital, some of the chemo patients use those wrist bands to combat their severe nausea and absolutely swear by them.  So much so, that they are kept in stock on our chemo unit.  I am not sure where you would get it, but I am sure that the health food store would be the place to start.  I hope you get better quick - I can not imagine trying to teach a class feeling nauseated.
