Not weighing until Aug 15, anyone want to join me?
I made a decision (inspired by lakegirl) to not weigh except for my follow up appts. It is getting tougher than I thought. It has been a couple of weeks since my last weigh in and I still have two more weeks to go. Why am I doing this? Well, I read all the posts where people are so dissappointed when it doesn't come off as fast or they hit the dreaded "re-adjustment" aka stall. I don't want to upset myself and be controlled by the numbers on the scale. Instead I am trying to focus on how my clothes are getting loose and how I feel. I don't want to see that "scale bounce" you know how it goes up and down by a pound or two ever so often. That would freak me out after I paid $10K to have my stomach ripped out!!!! So...anyone with me? Anyone want to ditch the scales until August 15th and then we can all celebrate our loss on that day and change our tickers!!! I need some support here so let me know if you are in.

My hubby hid my scales once in the truck of his car. Don't think I didn't go to Wally World and hop on one there. Dissatisfied, i ran to Target to get a better reading.

I haven't been online for a while and was catching up on reading everyone's posts. I think your idea is awesome. I'm also a scale fiend, weighing myself at least 3 times a day. But we are going on vacation tomorrow and won't be home till the 10th. I was determined not to weigh myself the whole time, and if I can make it that long, what's another 5 days, right? So, I will check in w/ you on the 15th and hopefully you, me, Rita, Michelle, and whoever else joins us can share our good news we get from our scales! Just wish me luck that I don't gain weight on vacation. We're going to the beach so hopefully I'll just be drinking a lot anyways, but I have a hard time resisting those sugary icees and smoothies!
