I am so upset this morning!
At this rate, I'll never get the weight off that Dr. W. wants me to lose, even if it is six months before I can have RNY.

Marsha
Kim is right - there is not way you can gain 10 lbs overnight!! It could definitely be a combination of swelling and water - it has happened to me that I would lose say five lbs and the next morning have those same five lbs back...I say don't weigh for at least 5 to 6 days...those "fake" lbs will be gone!

Let's do the math. Did you eat 35,000 calories in the middle of the night??? Of course not! Even if you did it would have taken a couple of days to show up on the scale. It is water weight. It will go away. Give yourself a break from the scale for a few days. I know that is easier said than done. I am a psycho with the scale myself. I literally covered the scale with a plastic bag when I was refraining from the daily weight in.

Thanks for all of your encouragment!
