hi everyone and thanks for all of the advice, it really helped. I called Dr. B and he told me to get my but (not in those words) to the er and have the er doc call him. So I followed my wonderful doc's orders and 3 liters of fluids later I feel like a new woman. I am doing better with getting my fluids in at work. I am setting a timer every 20 minutes and going to the break room to take in a few sips. Yesterday I had over 80 oz. There is one thing I would like to know, for all of you who are getting over 80 grams of protein a day how in the heck are ya doing it. I can get in about 35 or 40 only if I have a protein shake. I would love some imput on what a typical eating/exercising day is for any of you, the more the better. I seem to have fallen into a pattern of eating the same things and I am getting sick of them so anything you can recomment would be greatly appreciated. GOD bless and hope to hear from lots and lots of people.

I am so happy you talked to Dr. B and that he got that ER doc to do what was necessary for your health!  I know how much better you must feel!  I watched my sister perk up as she was receiving her IV fluids and she only got 2 liters.  Keep drinking!

I can only hit the protein #'s by using supplements and high quality foods.  I found that the Kraft 2% string cheese has a bit more protein than some other brands.  I try to always have animal protein for lunch and dinner.  If I eat chicken, fish, or beef for dinner I am less likely to want to snack after dinner.  You will be able to get more protein in as you can eat a little more down the line.

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I am so glad you are doing better.  It is slow in the beginning and hard to get in all the protein and fluid sometimes.  You will figure it out and what your tummy will tolerate.  Sounds like you are on tract....keep up the hard work and keep on sipping.....

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Holy Smokes, Bataman!  You were on E!  I had to have 2 liters and felt so much better so I can only imagine how you must have felt.  So glad you were smart enough to take action and even happier that you are feeling better!  Keep on drinking - I know it's a pain!  I'm struggling with it today but I hafta do it!
