I can't believe it has been a month.  I have changed so much and I am not even talking about changes in my looks, weight, and clothing size which are all wonderful.  In addition...

*I have more energy
*I don't need a seat belt extender in my car anymore
*My knee doesn't hurt
*I can stand and walk around at work
*I'm not hot and sweating all the time
*I am cooking
*I straighten the house and do laundry more often
*I have made wonderful friends through OH
*I have HOPE!

I am right behind you and I know exactly what you mean. It is amazing how those changes seem to just happen over night too -- especially the "not hot and sweating". My family laughs at me because even at 105 degrees out I am wrapped in a blanket inside and would rather be outside -- SO not like before!

Amy - congrats on your one month!! Just so you are prepared, the WOWs keep increasing as time goes by, I could list them one by one from the time I get up in the morning to the time I go to bed at night, I even sleep better. And the heat part, that has been the best! For the first time in a long, long time I am actually enjoying the summer, I also get chilly with the A/C in the house and at work, I can stand in the sun and NOT sweat. Now, a few months down the road, you are all going to hear me complain about been to cold!!

 Amen, SIsta!

I keep a sweatshirt jacket in my office for when they freeze me out. I take a coat to the movie theaters, and I keep blankets in the vehicles (which I've always done for the kids...now they're for me!)

My DH wishes I had Happycat's hot flashes..because he's ALWAYS hot.

Congrats Amy and Nancy!  I, too, second all those except the cold part~ I'm burning up constantly even at just over 130 lbs.  But, if it's any consolation lol, my poor husband pretty much sleeps in winter PTs because I freeze him out of the house.

I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID. IT JUST AMAZES ME. EVEN AT THE GYM I BARELY BREAK A SWEAT WHICH IS AMAZING BECAUSE NORMALLY I WOULD START SWEATING THE MINUTE I WALKED IN. I FREEZE TO DEATH AT WORK AND HOME AND MY HUSBAND AND SON SAY I AM ALWAYS COLD. THE TIDE HAS TURNED AND MOMMA IS CHANGING! I LOVE IT!

Preach on my sleeve sisters (and all you other sisters & bros too)!!!  I love needing a jacket in restaurants, etc!  My DH laughs at me too, but ya know, the changes are a sure sign that we are moving in the right direction!  Y'all keep posting these WOW moments, etc.  They are sources of serious inspriation to me!  THANK YOU!!!

Can I hear a hallelujah!???  I'm so happy for you.  I feel the same way but I'm not as cold as often.  But I can run errands after work and not collapse from heat exhaustion even in this weather!
