I am thrilled................  I stalled out my first week out of surgery and only lost 8 lbs.  Went to diet class this past Friday and weighed in at 230.  Started eating Friday afternoon (refried beans @ Ted's) while husband enjoyed a full meal and it didn't really bother me to much.  I think because I knew that in the past I would have stuffed myself to the brim and would have been miserable.

Anyway, I got on the scale this morning (had to have the husband read it for me because I can't see over my shelf (boobs & belly) yet. And guess what.   I have lost 5 POUNDS since Friday.  OMG  maybe it is really going to happen!

Thanks again for getting me through those dark days.

That first stall is a booger!  But it's so fabulous when it finally breaks!  Congratulations to you.  Now the fun can really begin!

kmccrary,

How are you feeling?  Hope you are recovering from your ordeal with that hospital.  It's a good thing that all of us weren't there with you, they wouldn't know what to think if a bunch of ranting and raving "losers" came in like your own personal posse, but then again maybe they would have gotten their rears in gear and acted a little faster!

It sounds like your daughter is a like mine.....NOBODY messes with her MOM!!!  Isn't it great to have such wonderful protectors.

Mushies should be right around the corner for you.  Hang in there.  I feel so much better now.

Best of Luck!

Oh, TED'S...my favorite place on earth almost!!  lol  Before surgery I would leave in such misery because I stuffed my face with those yummy yummy carbs...but now...I love leaving not feeling miserable and having food left over for 3 more meals...and I can eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!  lol  I have only been back to Ted's twice in the 7 months since surgery and both times I didn't leave feeling miserable!!!  Yeah!!!  GOOD LUCK TO YOU!  Since surgery, I have found refried beans to be my comfort food for a grouchy pouchy.  I couldn't look at another SF jello though!!! lol  You are doing great and it will happen for you!!!  It's working for all of us!!!

Way to go! That's exciting. Enjoy not seeing your feet cause it means you haven't lost the girls yet!

I've never eaten at Ted's, but I've had their catered food pre-sugery and don't care to repeat the experience!
