Inquiring mind wants to know. I have been using the BA Passion Fruit Chewable since surgery. It works fine and I like it okay, just a little expensive. What do you guys use?  All you VSG's can answer too. Rita

I would love alternatives to all the vitamins we have to take.   I know Charlotte buys some of her stuff on line but I'm ready to go somewhere and save some $$.  Thanks!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

I take the Building Blocks  chewables for Bariatric patients.  It is mixed berry flavor. It is probably on the high side.  I buy the multi, calcium and iron from Building Blocks.  They are all Chewable and I pay right at $100 for a 3 month supply.  When I am a little further out I may switch but for right now it makes me feel better knowing I am taking something that has enough of everything I need.

I don't have to take extra iron so I can't help you!  You might ask Charlotte, Cat59, because she gets her vitamins from some guy on this site and for the life of me I can't remember his name.  I don't know prices.

Hoping to see you in person some day soon!

I don't think what I take will help you but, I take Ferrous Gluconate.  It is a small coated tablet (about the size of an M&M.)  I pair it wild 500mg of Vit. C to enhance the absorption.

Talk to your pharmacist.  He/she should have some recommendations.  I LOVE using a community pharmacy so I can get the individial attention I need.  it may cost me more in copays but I don't care!

Denise, Chris told me not to use ferous gloconate. I don't know if it's because I am RNY or what? Just wanted to share that with you. She said I would need to use ferous fumarate. More than likely I'll just stick with the BA that I have been using. Was just trying to save some money, but in the long run sounds like that could backfire. Thanks everyone for your responses.

I do the building blocks vitamins also, but I now order the capsules instead of chewables. There are a little cheaper that way. I am post menopause, so I only have to take the 15g iron instead of the 30g.

Hi, everybody! Ragdoll Dude (Dave Chambers) from the main board is where I get my vitamins from.

They might look expensive, but they last forever. I bought 2 bottles in March, and I am on my 2nd bottle which is still about 3/4 full. I capful per day. I don't take anything else but the UpcalD and B12.

I use Centrum Chewables ... each contains 18 mg. of iron. (They  can be found on sale fairly frequently.)They don't taste bad at all to me. I also take Unicap M on occasion ... they are are a complete multivitamin with 18 mg. of iron and much smaller than other vitamins that need to be swallowed.

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

I hated Centrum Chewables. They were too sweet and sour too...that's why I take Dave's. I'm faithful to those every day and wasn't with the others..too much grit.
