Hey guys!  Just got home from the sleep study last night and the psychological testing, visiting with Dr. Keller, Jessica, and Lauren in the gym.  Everyone was so very nice and supportive to us. Jen and I both are going to have to have a CPAP, but not sure exactly when we'll get that.  We met Rita (Crickett) as we were leaving the hospital. Hey Rita!  I think you did my EKG when I was there in June.  Jennifer was sure you did hers, and if I remember correctly you did mine...I've slept since then though. 

Jennifer is possibly going to have her surgery on August 18, we're not positive on that date yet, but that's the date we're looking at.  I did get approval from my insurance compance for Dr. Keller's visit, so I feel good that they're going to approve my surgery once the six months are up.  I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't think they'd approve part of the services, if they were going to deny the surgery....let's hope not anyway!

I'm going to go get some exercise, sitting in a car for so long has me all stiff and sore.

Yeah!  One more step closer!!  I just took my CPAP back to the vendor yesterday!  LOVE NO MORE CPAP FOR ME!!!   When you lose a bunch of weight you may be able to get rid of it too!  It's not that bad though.  When I needed it I really slept better with it.  GOOD LUCK ON YOUR APPROVAL!!!

So it is possible to rent the CPAP machines?  I sure hate to buy one for a short time.  I was really shocked when Alecia came in to put it on me.  I didn't really know I had a problem, but she said after she put it on I slept much better.  Funny, I sure have been sleepy today!  LOL 

Everyone at Weight Wise and Foundation are so wonderful!  I sure know I have never been treated so well anywhere around here.  :)

Weight Wise is awesome!  You made a great choice there!  On the CPAP...it depends on your insurance.  Some you have to rent, some you have to buy.  Mine was a rent for 13 months and then I only had to pay a yearly fee for the maintenence/warranty on it and buy any supplies I needed.  My husband owns his outright and I don't think he'll ever get to quit using it.  My sleep apnea was very mild and once I lost 90 pounds it was gone.  Some people have to use the machine forever but if your case was mild you may be able to get off it once you lose weight.  Good luck on your journey!!!  Diana
