This recipe made me feel like I was eating "real" food again.  I had about 1/4 cup last night and am eating some reheated right now for lunch.  I think I got the recipe from Egg Face but can't remember. Everytime I see a good recipe on OH I just copy and paste it in my word doc.  Here it is if you are interested....

Parmesan Tilapia

You can use this topping on any white fi****'s so simple and good.

1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
2 lbs tilapia fillets
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease baking pan. In small bowl, mix together the cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice, basil, onion powder, salt and pepper. Arrange fillets in a single layer in prepared pan. Bake for 20 - 30 minutes until done and flaky.
Remove fillets from oven and cover them with the cheese mixture on top side. Place under broiler for 2 minutes or until the topping is browned. Be careful not to overcook the fish. 8 servings.

Hey that sounds great!  I think this would be good with cod too and  you can get that at Sam's.

Sounds good but way too many ingredients for a lazy cook!! I fix my tilapia from frozen (Sam's individually sealed) on the Foreman grill.  It takes about 3 mintues on a preheated grill!  I put some olive oil and lemon pepper in a ziploc and then add the fish and shake.  Yum!  Or, I have used blackening spices on Tilapia.  I also do this with salmon.  Salmon takes about 8 mintues from frozen.

I think there was a theme here- lazy cooking with little planning.  I cook lots of things from frozen on my Foreman.

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Yep, I am usually pretty lazy and do the quick thing too.  But I needed to fix something for family and wanted it to be something I could eat too.  Oh it was so good!

DOES IT TASTE FISHY? I AM NOT A BIG FAN OF FISH BUT I LOVE SEAFOOD LIKE CRAB AND SHRIMP BUT I'M AFRAID TO TRY TILAPIA. I HAVE HEARD LOTS OF GOOD THINGS ABOUT TILAPIA BUT I DON'T KNOW IF I WILL LIKE IT IF IT TASTES FISHY.

tilapia is very mild. I don't find it fishy tasting at all.
