APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still pinching myself, but yes UHC called me yesterday morning and said "Yes, we wanted to let you know you have been approved for your surgery with Dr. Gorospe at Bailey Medical."  Wow!!  I had to have her repeat it, because honestly I wanted to be sure.  Quickest approval, about one week from the date my paperwork was submitted.  I cannot believe it is real, and now the fun begins.  I work ten hour shifts and have three days off a week...Tues, Fri & Saturday's so I know I will become very familiar with the highway between Carthage & Tulsa/Owasso.  Thank you all so much for listening and offering such kind words and inspiration.

Jinny with Dr. G's office called me yesterday and said they saw the approval online and that more than likely my surgery would be set for the last week in August or first week in September. I am really speechless now...almost reflective in a sense that my life is going to go through the biggest change EVER!!  Which elates me as well as scares me to death.  Have a great weekend everyone and thank you again, I guarantee I will be posting more questions soon.

That is WONDERFUL news!  I'm so glad you got your answer quick.  I know what it is like to go months and months waiting and jumping through hoops just to be denied.

Thank you Dot!!  Yes, speaking of the Tulsa meet N greet I would love to come to one.  The next time you have one on a Tues, Fri or Saturday I would love to know so I can attend.  I want to meet all the fabulous people that have been so supportive of me.

And yes Crickett I will keep you updated...June 5th birthday twins what the chance??  I keep thinking if I have my surgery the beginning of Sept my BDay will be 9 months away...I could drop a lot of weight by then for my big 39th...UGH!! LOL

Congrats!  What good news.  You are in for the ride of your life.  You son will indeed have a new Mom that can be so much more healthy for him and be able to get out and play with him as well.  This was the best thing EVER that I have done for myself.  I feel like I'm now a participant in life and not jus****ching life go by feeling like crap every day.  I wish I would have had the opportunity to have done this at your age but all is good.  Enjoy your weekend!  I KNOW you are excited!!!
