New WOW...well sorta....still an awesome moment
I guess my new energy and outward attitude and confidence is paying off. I was in Wal-Mart the other day and had a cute gal as my cashier. I openly flirted a little and made small talk and wished her a very happy Sunday and walked out of the store. Today I was sitting in the lounge at school during lunch break and this gal kept staring at me and smiling. I KNEW I remembered her from somewhere and just could not place it. Well as I was leaving class today here she was walking down the hall. She stopped me and said "You look so familiar I KNOW we have met before, and recently, but I cant think of where". I told her I was thinking the same thing (and watch this one ladies) and I could never forget a face like hers. She blushed of course and said wait do you go into the Wal-Mart at 111th? SHE WAS MY CASHIER!!! And she is in school with me!! How cool is that? And the fact that she remembered me and that I had made that much of an impact on her was just awesome. Nothing may even come of this romantically (I don't even know anything about her) but at the least I know I have made a new friend....and in the end thats what matters most.
Gosh, Dan! You are turning into quite a casanova (at the risk of sounding like my mother)! I'm happy as heck for you!

Cindy you didn't offend me hun it takes a LOT more to offend me than that. I was just making a statement that finding "true love: in just 6 weeks while dating 24 other people is NOT realistic. It's borderline prostitution if you ask me. Maybe they should change the name from "The Bachelor" to "The Gigalo"...lol
Whew! I didn't want the Sultan mad at me. You had me skeered!!!
But I do agree with you. It's like watching a train wreck if you ask me. One of my best friends met his wife through a personal ad. I even thought that was whack. They've proved me wrong though. Been married 12 years. Tells ya' what I know. I've been married 21 years so I guess I'm a little out of touch. LOL Love ya!!! Cindy
