Baked chicken...
ONE OF MY FRIENDS THAT HAD RNY ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO GAVE ME THIS CHICKEN RECIPE YESTERDAY AND SAYS IT GOES DOWN WELL FOR HER. I HAVEN'T GOTTEN TO TRY IT YWT BUT IT DOES SOUND YUMMY!
buy bone less skinless chicken thighs (they have them at walmart). put a little olive oil in your skillet and season your chicken to taste. brown both sides of ckicken till golden brown, then add chicken stock or just add water. bring to boil and then turn to medium simmer and let coo****il chicken falls apart when poked with fork, about 20 min or so. add package of chicken gravy to pan and let thicken. i serve with mash potato or noodles. you can also add veggies to this like carrots, celery, peas, whatever. sort of make a chicken pot pie out of it. or chicken noodle casserole. it is a great base for lots of idea.
this goes down for me very well. good luck.
MAYBE THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU!
Since my surgery, I haven't tried baked chicken. I have KFC fried, just take the skin off, homemade chicken potpie, chicken salad, i forget what else. My mom and sister (RNY) can't eat chicken at all. Everyone is different. Just remember, if something doesnt settle well, try again in a few months. Taste and tolerances change all the time.

I can't tolerate any baked meats. All my meats are grilled and not on flat grills either. Has to be a gas grill or open flame grill. I know which restaurants have which. Otherwise, I , and it's not pretty. I found out why Outback is instant pouch pain. Jess said that everything is marinated in butter first. No wonder! I can't even stand the smell of fried anything anymore.
