I have had baked chicken twice since surgery and both times I've gotten pukey!!!    I don't actually barf but it sure is icky!  Tonight was baked chicken from Sam's and before this it was the new grilled chicken from KFC.  I don't understand why this makes me sickie poo!

Ok, I don't expect any answers - I'm just whining!  What better place to whine than to your family???

I had the grilled chicken from KFC once for a try. I didn't throw up, but it didn't set well at all. I don't plan to try it again. Baked chicken at home has done well ... not as easy as FF refried beans, but good for actual meaty meat.
Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

Hi Kim,  It may be the seasonings/marinades they use.  I have to pat down the Sams chicken with paper towels after skinning and deboning it or I get sick.  I hope you figure it out as glitter doesn't go with puke...donna

Could it be too dry?  I do best with white meat chicken.  Dark meat scares me since I tried thighs on the second stage of soft foods.  Don't know other than if it is too dry. It would be sad if chicken is off the menu for good! :(

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I am able to eat white meat chicken from KFC just fine as long as I peal the fired "garbage" off and just eat the meat.  I dip mine in hot sauce though but then I love my food hot.

That seems so backwards!  Wouldn't you think fried would be harder on us?  Strange!

I think it has something to do with the seasoning in the grilled-because it just tasted "wrong" to me-then I puked.

Chicken doesn't hardly get passed my tonsils.  The only meat that doesn't get stuck or doesn't feel stuck is the deli meat from Walmart.  I even bought the good oscar lunch meat and it got stuck too.  grrrrr.

I have trouble with chicken sometimes too.  Especially any kind of chicken salad.  Not sure if it's the mayo or what.  I had the roasted chicken from KFC yesterday and it settled ok.  However, I only took about 5 bites because I wasn't sure how it would do.  funny how all this is still trial and error.
