Mushies report

I started mushies today! I had 1/2 a cheese stick for breakfast and 1/2 for lunch. I never knew cheddar cheese could taste so good!! For dinner I made a scrambled egg with cottage cheese and cheese. I ate 1/4 of it and my grandson ate the rest. It felt so good to chew!! Everything stayed down really well. I am not sure I was really full, but did not want to risk eating too much. My soreness is completely gone so my DIL and I went back to Tan and Tone tonight. We stopped on the way back and bought snow cones -- sugar free for me. YUM. I had trouble getting my fluids in today with having to wait an hour after eating, but the snow cone really helped.

The snow cone stand on the corner of 4th and Telephone Rd has a small variety of SF ones. We love them but lately they have been closing earlier and we kept missing them. I guess they stayed open longer tonight due to the heat. I want to try the one at 119th and Western too.

Congrats on the mushies!  It is truly a momentous day!  It makes you feel like a "normal" person again.  Glad it all went down well.  I only ever have a problem when I don't chew well enough or eat too fast.

Yea mushies!

I'm so happy you're feeling so good and doing great! Good luck on getting your fluids in this week ...we'd all better push our best to get in that 64 ozs. since the temps are so HOT!
Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

You made it!!  I did the same thing and stopped because I was scared.  Last night I pushed it and for the first time I felt a bit queasy for about 15 minutes.  I got too ****y and ate too fast and maybe too much.

Eating too fast is your biggest enemy at this point.  That is my biggest weakness.  I really, really need to work on slowing down.  You can end up in trouble if you eat too fast since the brain hasn't caught up with the tiny tummy.

Yeah, for mushies!  Gourmet isn't it?

Denise

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)
