boycotting bariatriceating.com

I am boycotting bariatriceating.com because they have in my opinion swindled me.  Here's what happened:  3 weeks after surgery I was having (and still am) trouble with my protein.  I don't care for the shakes so I found this website link and visited.  They were advertising protein bullets and they sounded great 40grams/3oz of liquid, 3 flavors, grape, orange and fruit punch.  I called the company because they claimed to have bariatric people to talk to about their products.  A nice woman told me she thought these bullets would do the trick for me.  Well, they come in packs of 12 and you save money if you buy 3 packs at a time, so I thought it would be better to buy the 3 for $89.00 plus shipping.  They arrived and I tried them but thought they were disgusting.  So I called the customer service and they said I could send the remainder back and they would give me credit.  So I packaged them up and spent $15 more dollars to send them back and waited for them to credit my credit card.  NOW 2 months later I call them because a credit still does not appear.  They tell me that they do not accept protein back because it may have been opened, and they only give in store credit and that they threw that protein away when they received it, because it could not be resold.  (I don't believe this for a minute.  Those protein bullets had a sealed cap like water bottles do.)  Anyway they offered me store credit for $27.00 for what was returned.  That wasn't even worth shipping back for that.  I would rather have given it away than be duped like this.  Sorry, for this long post but I needed to vent.  I don't have an extra $100.00 around just to throw away, which is apparently what I did.

I have read other horror stories much like yours on the VSG boards.  And it was all about the returns too.  I'm so sorry this happened to you!

I bought mine here in OKC at GNC and tried them and could not gag them down and they said they could not take back drinks once they leave the store so I am in the same boat except I still have the product and no money!!!!!!! 

Hijack ... welcome home, Heather! We've missed you! I'm sorry you're in the same situation.

I've also read several people posting with similar experiences like this with that company. They also had one of their employees post on the VSG board bashing a lady incorrectly and accusing her of gaining, rather that losing weight and that she would probably never lose weight .... on a public board .... and it wasn't even the same person they were accusing of gaining weight. This was in response to a posted concern with their company service. It was disgusting to read.

I'm sorry you had that bad experience. I'll never purchase from them.

I ordered the expensive sample pkg and when it arrived something had busted and a green goo was all over the stuff.  I won't order again either.

The WeightWIse store is online and available to anyone to shop. Wal-Mart pharmacy says that they don't accept returns on protein either. However, Customer Serice got them to do it for me since I hadn't opened it yet.

I buy my Unjury at the WeightWise market place, but their shipping is reasonable, and their warehouse is in Oklahoma, I think. It didn't take me long to get my order.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Vitalady's website is fast shipping, too and she gives free samples.

Wow,GNC said they'd take back any powder if I returned it within a week because they only had the mega cases of isopure.
