Feedback Please?

Hey Gang - for those of you who attended tonights PouchWise Support Group at FBH - Would you mind if I asked you to send me some feedback on tonights meeting?  Since this was my debut as a true Support Group Leader, I would like to know how I did and if you can think of anything that I need to do personnally to make things better.

Also, could you give me feedback on the room set up this evening?  I meant to bring it up and didn't get a chance.  Was the movement of the tables and the placement of the chairs better or worse?  More comfortable or less?  Don't mention the "meat market" refrigeration - I can't change that issue unfortunately.

I appreciate your words.  Please - if they are less than glowing send them in PM!!!  I will probably end up printing these out for Dr. Keller and I to discuss so be kind!

I hope you enjoyed the discussions this evening!  It has been a great week of support groups for me.  Thank you!!

I think you did a fantastic job! I liked the idea of no tables. People were closer together and seemed to converse even more than usual. I enjoyed the meeting as much as always. Now if you COULD fix the refrigeration it would be just perfect!

I wasn't there, but I'm betting you weren't wearing orange.  My humble, and sparkly opinion is that you'd look FABULOUS in orange and should wear it at all times.

Ruth I thought you did great and were a natural at it!  In a way it was a nice change from Dr. Keller...no disrespect of course... but you have actually HAD weight loss surgery so I think everyone could identify and your probably gained respect from the room right away.  I do enjoy Dr. Keller too but I also enjoyed your leading the group too.  Oh and I liked the tables gone.

You did great!  I loved it with the tables gone.  It was easier to visit with others and didn't feel so cramped in there even though there were so many folks.  It was nice also that no one had to carry chairs in while the meeting was going on.  Good planning!

The support meeting was very informative and you did a great job.  I liked it without the tables because it made it easier to visit with each other and it accomodated more people as the group always seems to get larger.  I enjoy and learn from each person who shares their comments.  It was a great support meeting. Ruth,

I thought the meeting went great.  I really did think it worked better without the tables in the room.  It just seemed to make so much more room for everyone.

I thought that the discussion portion of the meeting went great - as always.  It was a little hard for everyone to hear in the back of the room, but I think that is pretty normal.  It's a big room, and with a big crowd, it just gets a little loud in there.

Overall, I think a great time for your first try!  I didn't ever catch what's on the agenda for next month... did you say?  You may have said early on, and I came in late.

I'm looking forward to there being lots of other groups around the state that let more people take advantage of what we have going on in Edmond.

Keep up the great work!
