Yikes!  That doesn't sound like a pretty episode at all! Congrats on the weight loss, though~ Hope your pouch starts feeling better soon~  PS  Ricotta cheese and spaghetti sauce .... it helped me on my lonely days of food withdrawals!

Dude, you've lost 28 lbs. so fast!!! I may have to hit you when I see you next, or see if there's a way I can try to steal your metabolism and trade you mine! : ) Congratulations!!!

Tommy, stay *safe* and pay attention to those dietary progression rules. Give your pouch a chance to heal and get used to its new function before feeding it the really big kid food!

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

LOL.... i know I deserve it...but chicken....i thought chicken was tougher than turkey....guess i was wrong...    I feel better now though!  So it's all good.  I drank a protein shake thingy to substitute the lost protein.   Oh, and i didn't have any sauce on the turkey, it was just cut andthen I basically shredded it...hehe...  lesson learned...  I deserved the "tough love" for being completely "non-conformist"...lol... Remember who you are talking to!! Ms Non Compliant herself!!  I have tried all the tricks and sticks myself - not always with the best results!!  Follow the program deary!! I couldn't do tuna or chicken at all for a long time - actually was able to do ground beef first!  But then I also was on soft foods for almost 3-4 months as well due to the stricture & ulcer - so who wants to follow my example?  LOL

The only meat I ate early was pepperoni and what I did with it was run it through my little veggie chopper thingie I bought.  It came out like bacon bits and I put it and some cheese on a low carb flour tortilla.

oh thomas i know how you feel!! remember my egg episode earlier this week? i have been eating about half a piece of string cheese or tsp of tuna or refired beans. i don't know if i am full or scared to eat more. i guess i will have to learn how to read "the pouch". all kinds of food sound good to me but i don't even know if i could tolerate anything more. i do want to try eggs again but i think i will wait til next week when i can have them anyway i want. congrats on the weight loss you are doing great!! see you tomorrow. you better speak to me when we see each other!!

First of all - congrats on the weight loss.  I'll tell you that I still don't eat much turkey - it really is awfully dry.  I can, but I choose not to do so.  Seems that the other stuff (even steak) is a lot easier.

Ok, I'd tell you I'm gonna spank your butt, but you'd just say please, so I wont! Seriously, though, the doc's food plan that Rita just spelled out for you again works for a REASON. Your pouch is still healing. Dry turkey isn't good even this far out with me. I can eat it no probs, but don't want to.
