So far so good this morning

I am up early again this morning (why does my body not understand a day off! lol) and so far -- NO spasms! Room temp or warm seems to be better for me though. I have not tried popsicles or jello yet though so will try that today. My abdomen is more sore today though. I have to laugh at the instructions that say you can resume all normal activities -- yeah right!

I know that we've all told you that today MAY be the worst day.  But since we're all so different, that may not happen.  I hope it's all smooth sailing!  Drink, drink, drink!

Nancy - you are doing great! About the liquids at room temp, I would be one of those that has to follow those rules. My new, wonderful  stomach does not like anything ice cold, even now.....I hope you are able to enjoy those popsicles, I bought a whole bunch when I was on liquids and I ended up not eating them. - Anna

That early to rise stuff might be your body getting new energy.  Remember, I remodeled my closet the week after surgery !  I'm glad you're doing so well.  The more you move the less sore you will become.  Walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip ;)

Ditto on the walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip...that'll get things moving better! When I first woke up, warm settled easier on my stomach, so I had a lot of decaf hot tea which I don't like (prefer iced tea) but it worked. Then as the day progressed, I could handle the cold and popsicles, though I confess I really don't enjoy those anymore as much as I did then! Glad to hear you're doing well..and congrats!!

My factor level rose to 92 after my pre-op dose (they wanted 90) and I just found out it dropped to 60 prior to my post-op dose on Tuesday. They told me the stress of surgery would make it drop but since that is below my baseline of 69 I need to increase my dose for the next 4 infusions. i figured out the cost of the factor and it is more than the cost of the surgery -- almost double! I sure am happy for good benefits in that regard!

Popsicles went down really well for me.  I still have 1 or 2 every evening.  They are a nice treat.  I hope the evil spasms are still gone and that today is good to you!
