Cost?

I've been searching the forums for an estimate on cost of surgery.  Could anyone who had Lap Band Surgery in Tulsa give me an estimate of what total cost would have been? If my insurance agrees to coverage, I would be paying 20%, but now I'm worried I might not be able to afford the 20%. Beryl

The actual cost is probably more than 20% since you'e got to go to multiple docs and then there's the plastic urgery after the main surgery is over that most insurances won't cover.  There's a lot of doctors who have a much higher price for people with insurance so it's best to contact the doctor's office that you're interested in having the surgery. T.

talk with the business office or insurance folks at the surgeon's office.  They are the experts at this stuff.  Do you have a max out of pocket?  Most of us do however, it can be pretty high.  I hit max out of pocket early this year!
