Lets have some fun today.... here are some questions that I would love to see the different answers to. How far out are you??? What is your fave food? What is your fave resturant? What is something you miss? What can you absolutely NOT have now cause your new pouch refuses? ____________________________________________________ I am 5 months out, my fave food is grilled shrimp even though I have a tough time having it sometimes. Fave resturant is Subway salad, I miss fresh baked bread. Not sure that I have an absolutely cannot have, every day is different with  my pouch what she can tolerate one day she cant the next.

I am 6 months and 1 week out.  I love my sugar free caramel coffee...hot or iced...yummo!  I also love my turkey brats...one is dinner!  lol  Don't really have a favorite place to eat now...I love to get my light lemonade at Sonic with extra ice to crunch on.  If we have to eat out I will usually get a taco or taco salad and not eat the shell.  I miss CRUNCHING!  Chips, popcorn, nachos!  I can't have my turkey burgers...boo hoo!  I can't do spicy much anymore...boo hoo!  I can't do ice cream even low sugar/no sugar added...super BOO HOO! AND MILK...OUCH!  Can't even think about milk...but cheese is fine...what's up with that??? But I am SO happy with my RNY!  I am going to get out of this stall and lose 100 pounds soon or else I'm going to cut off a limb...jk!!!!  lol

I think it's so weird that you can eat turkey brats and NOT eat turkey hamburger!  Strange!

Isnt that odd...I think it's the premade burgers....spices in it or something.  If I buy the ground turkey and make the burgers myself I am fine.  But, I am a lazy cook so it makes me mad I can't use the premade frozen turkey burgers!!!!  lol    I can't believe I just admitted I am a lazy cook!!!  Don't tell my hubby!!!

How far out are you???  I am just under 4 years out... My surgiversary is August 3rd.

What is your fave food?  I have a few of them... I love Chinese food.  I love Sashimi, esp Ahi tuna.  And I love the Seafood Gumbo from Red Lobster and the Zuppa Toscana from Olive Garden... big soup lover!  Oooo and I love, love, love Seafood!
What is your fave resturant? Red Lobster is probably my very favorite restaurant.  Olive Garden is another favorite of mine.

What is something you miss?  Really, at this point, I don't think there is anything anymore that I really miss.

What can you absolutely NOT have now cause your new pouch refuses? Ice cream... pouch isn't exactly new anymore, but she still hates ice cream.

This is super interesting!  Thanks for putting it out there.  Of course, I can't really answer yet since I am just 7 days post op.  My favorite food is shrimp so I hope it will go down when I get to that stage.

I am 2 months and 3 days out. My favorite food has got to be chicken! Or maybe beans! Or maybe turkey. I love it all. My favorite restaurant before surgery was Chili's. Now my favorite sit down is Texas Roadhouse. My favorite fast food is Taco Bell. I miss being able to have soup. The slurping is just a haven for me that I don't have anymore :( I haven't really found anything that I can't refuse, but the first time I tried spicy food after my surgery it did not turn out well, but that is all better now.

How far out- almost 7 weeks Fave food- taco guts with refried beans and pico or salsa Fave restaurant- locally I really dont' care I can eat anywhere  Santa Fe- hands down it is Tomasita's  yummers~ Something I miss- margaritas (no I am not a heavy drinker but I did enjoy an occasional drink) Can't have- I had mild dumping on bacon   I am still learnign what the grouchy banana will accept sometimes.  It did not like chicken thighs the only time I tried them (who cares- can live forever without a chicken thigh!)
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)
