Glad to be among the losers!
Hi all! As Kim told you, I did not get back into my room until late. I have not had any nausea and no real abdominal pain. What I am having is esophageal spasms and my bllod pressure was high yesterday so they kept me medicated with IV Dilaudid for that so I got just a little bit of walking in last night. My blood pressure is better today. I am still having spasms but they are better today except that I have to take even smaller sips than usual. Dr Walton said I had very little bleeding -- factor works! The staff is a little freaked out with hemophilia and I am giving them lots of education. I get my next dose of factor in about 30 minutes and should be out of here this afternoon. Thank you Kim, Denise, and Ruth for coming by to see me! My husband has always been skeptical of online support groups but has a new appreciation after your visits.
I'm so glad you're doing better today and have a successful surgery! What's up with those esophageal spasms? Aren't you just the lucky one!?
I can understand why hubby would doubt online support groups. But then we're not your average support group. We all have something very basic in common so it gives us a bond!
Hope you get sprung out of there soon. It always feels better to be in your own little nest at home!
FYI - Glad to meet the hubby and your daughters are adorable!
