Had a good time at support group!
Just want to introduce myself. I am hoping to get a surgery date soon. My last initials are the 9th. I was 7.5 lbs. away from the 16 I need to loose at my last appointments the 26th. I should have weighed last night! Hopefully I can set a date for the last week of July, if not sooner. I am a teacher & start back to school the 11th of August.

Welcome! Make sure you tell them on teh 9th that you are a teacher and need to be done sooner rather than later. They were wonderful working with my end of school schedule. Good luck and keep up posted on your progress.

Even though I bleed Cowboy orange, I want to welcome you to OH. You will find an amazing support network here that will make your journey so much more informed and so much more fun! We are are a family here and we welcome you to our family!
FYI - I had surgery (sleeve) on a Wednesday and went back to work on Monday. Can't say I was 100% that day but I needed to be around people and think about something besides the hated liquids. I was back to working full strength probably a week after. HOWEVER, we are all different so I would give yourself as much time as possible. HappyCat is my sister and a teacher and probably smarter than me so she can help! LOL!
Anyway, Welcome and get that dang pre-op weight off ASAP so you can get yourself on over to the Loser's Bench!
