Can someone send me some big girl panties?

I think I need a new pair of big girl panties cuz mine quit working!  I am not in terrible pain or anything like that.  But I do feel funny, maybe queasy or something, maybe it is acid reflux.  I'm taking the protonex Dr. B. gave me so maybe that takes time to build up or something.  Maybe my new tummy which I nick named "the bratt" is just letting me know who is in charge.  I am having trouble getting in all the liquids.  I only got about 52 oz yesterday.  I have had 16 oz so far today since waking up about 8:30 and it is almost 11:00 now.  Maybe I need to do some gel on my wrist and that will help me not feel so strange.  To be honest....I can't say I love my sleeve yet.  Maybe a little buyers remorse even.  But I have heard all those ahead of me say they felt the same thing so i know it is normal.  I just wish I could fast forward a few weeks to the point that I feel great and can eat a little bit of something.  On a more positive note I did sleep in the bed and on my stomach!  I got a good nights sleep.

do you need a kick in those big girl panties? you can do this.. you know its the best thing you have ever done for yourself.. head up chest out and be a big girl... ok was that a good pep talk? this will pass soon.. and you will survive.

You are going to be just fine....  Just pull up the big girl panties you have because you won't need them that much longer.  I felt the same way you did early on...buyer's remore. I think I was missing my friend .....food!!   It is so going to be worth it and in 2 or 3 weeks you'll  be back to feeling normal.  I never thought I would be down 111 pounds in the short time I have....You WILL TOO!  You will be riding that roller coaster with your son and feeling sooooo much better, happier and healthier....  Hang in there and take it easy.  I had to miss last night's meeting because we are on vacation and visiting in Texas.  I'll see less of you when I do.  Have an awesome weekend.....  Debbie

You know every time i see someone talking about big girl panties I think about myself.  I wore briefs before surgery most of the time (if I even wore any at all...okay sorry TMI).  Now i wear boxers or nothing.  I quit wearing my Big Boy Underwear.  As Kramer said on Sienfeld........."I love the freedom Jerry!!"

Just look forward to the time that you're having to buy new, sexier panties !!!  Give yourself some time.  All will be okay and, if not, you've got a great doctor to help you through it !  Have a happy 4th !  Lynette

True.  And I keep reminding myself it is just day 3.  I'm sure as the swelling inside me goes down and the gas is gone, I will be worlds better.  I have seen so many post that day 3 is hard. So hopefully I wake up tomorrow with a more positive outlook.

I remember the worst part of mine was the gas went to my shoulders and made me sooooo sore.  But, getting up and exercising helped a lot !!!  Drink and walk -- drink and walk.

I'm glad you finally posted so that we can cheer you on and reassure you all will be ok.....that way when I get there, you can tell me!!!  I'm still excited that you have done this and your life will be changed forever! I am glad today that I can move around pretty normal.  I went to Target.  I received several supporting comments from our OH family.  I know I am not alone and that this shall pass.  Randy made me some SF grape koolaid and it was awesome!  It seemed to go down really well.  I'm getting ready to have chicken broth, yum.  I like the warm stuff.  Also, happy that the surgery part is over and I didn't have any complications.  Happy that I have friends like you guys to cheer me on.  I feel that I made the right decsion and very soon I will be thrilled with it.  OH, and I never have thrown up, just felt a little icky.
