well my husband and i went back to the gym today!?!?!?!? what was i thinking? actually it wasn't that bad. he had me do 20 minutes on the treadmill and then i used the leg machines to work my legs and walked the track in between sets. tomorrow he wants me to do the upper body machines if it doesn't pull on my belly too much. we'll see how that goes.i weighed again today and have lost 12 lbs since surgery last monday which brings my total loss to 52 lbs. woo hoo!!!! oh and i am sick to death of liquids only!!

Good for wanting to exercise, but be careful to not overdo so early out from surgery! You don't want to pull on your incision sites too much and incisional hernias are possible if you do too much too soon after surgery. If you are really having to use your abs, please be careful. I was restricted to not lifting over 10 lbs. for the first 6 weeks post op. I know this varies between surgeons, but just be very careful.

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

wtg.. that is alot of up and about.. your doing great with your weight loss too. I actually had a nice guy offer to help me with my work out.. we met at the pool here at my apts.. he is BUFF! and fine looking.. I was telling him about wanting surgery and I was suprised that he said he would be more than happy to workout with me and help me get a routine before and after surgery that will help tone me and built strength.. he let me know the more cardio I did now would help me during surgery..he is very knowledgable and good looking.. I think i have a crush.....lol.. well maybe if i wasnt married and he didnt have 4 young kids...lol
