Right now shopping is a viable exercise (cause that's what I did).....during the day it's just too hot to be out...tonight I'm going to putter in the garden and do the hoola hoop thingy some. Now that I've gotten rid of the weight set I can do it on the sunporch with a DVD.....and maybe actually learn how to do it.
I've never been able to do it for hours, about 15 minutes is the most I can muster-but it's a good way to get the heart rate up in a somewhat lighthearted way. Doesn't work very well for me outside at all-I can't deal with the wind combined with my own lack of skill.
Someday I'll try the hoop thing while on the balance board, but that is for a later adventure.
