Of course it does!!! You're walking and using your brain to make choices burns calories, too! : )

Coldwater Creek is having a fab sale!  They are too pricey unless they have a sale.  They have such great quality!  Hope the stuff fits because I sure didn't have time to try it on! Oh, and got bras at JC Penney.  That's always exciting!   NOT!!

I love Coldwater Creek when they have sales! I'm with you ... I only shop during sales. Well, I did shop there before our daughter's wedding for something to wear at her wedding ... but that was my only time shopping there when they weren't having a sale. ; )

Right now shopping is a viable exercise (cause that's what I did).....during the day it's just too hot to be out...tonight I'm going to putter in the garden and do the hoola hoop thingy some.  Now that I've gotten rid of the weight set I can do it on the sunporch with a DVD.....and maybe actually learn how to do it.

I've never been able to do it for hours, about 15 minutes is the most I can muster-but it's a good way to get the heart rate up in a somewhat lighthearted way.  Doesn't work very well for me outside at all-I can't deal with the wind combined with my own lack of skill.

Someday I'll try the hoop thing while on the balance board, but that is for a later adventure.

That's great exercise! Working in the yard can really burn the calories ... as can hula hooping. ; )

I did *most* of the *Keeping Fit In Your 50s* Strength training DVD. Getting ready to walk with Leslie Sansone ... Super Fat Burning - 3 Miles! : )
