I am back..and OMG!!!

I FIT!!!  I can proudly say that I can sit in an airplane seat, without lifting the armrest or spilling over into the next seat! AND (this was an emotional moment guys), I don't need a seat belt extension!!!! I was able to buckle that sucker with no problems, it was snug, but it was ok (seriously, they could make those things 2" longer or something) - So this was a major WOW moment; I am set for a while, I can bask in this glory for a few months!!! - Anna

Congratulations! I can imagine what a good feeling that is. That is the ONLY reason I hate flying!

Very cool WOW moment!  I wonder when I'm post-op if when I fly I won't feel like I need to tie my elbows to my body to keep from hitting others when I'm in the center seat.

Anna, Congratulations on the seatbelt, and on surviving the juggernaut that is our airport system these days.  I know that it took me three days to recover last time I had to go through an airport.  ( I SO agree about those belts being 2 inches longer) Glad to have you back in OK!  Bask away... you deserve it! Very cool WOW moment.  Last time i flew was in 2005 and I was so embarrassed having to ask for the extension on each flight.  People just stare at you too when you ask for one.
