I'd love to join you on a Saturday morning one of these weekends. The problem is getting up so early on a Saturday in time to drive to the park ... and actually stay awake! ; )
Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

I hear you on that one!  The hardest part for me is getting out from under the covers before 9 on Saturday!!!    I am not a pretty sight!  I roll out of bed...brush my teeth and throw on my walking clothes and shoes  and grab a water and go.

I am willing to adjust the time. I figured earlier in order to beat some of the heat. I don't do heat too well, but hopefully some of that will change soon!

Nancy, I will tell you that I am suffering much less with the heat this summer than ever before.  I havent  lost much weight post-op so it must be one of the mysteries of this surgery.  I never even had wet drippy hair during vacation in Santa Fe.  The back of my hair used to always get drippy wet every day- even shopping in the mall.  I am dry!!! Denise
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

WooHoo Denise! I hear you! I've never tolerated heat at all and this summer it really isn't a bother at all. We always start riding in the evening when it's still in the mid 80's. Last year I would have not even gone outside when it was above 80. ; )

Oh Nancy, you don't need to change the time. I don't want anyone having heat stroke! I just need to get my backside used to getting up and around earlier on Sat. mornings. ; )

We can always take a nap later!  I love a little nap on Saturday and ESPECIALLY on Sunday after church and lunch!  My hubby gets frustrated with me sometimes...when I turned 43 I began falling asleep during movies!!!  (Just like my mom!)  It has to be a really loud/good movie or I am dozing off!  lol

What time is the walk?  Is a leashed dog allowed?
