3 hours of on feet shopping.  Wasn't really looking for anything, just wanted to make sure that I'd be good to go for Prissy's class on Thursday.

Yes, she started a few months ago but we had to reschedule so she's still stuck on sit and walk quietly....LOL.

Hey Shelly, Another romp around the walking track at the park.  About the same distance as yesterday ... knee is still giving me a few fits but I believe the worst is behind me. Huggs, Pam

Hooray for walking that park track again! Way to go! Have you seen your Dr. about your knee? Would a knee brace help? What about some water exercise to take the stress off your knee? I hope your knee gets better soon!

Today I've only done 2 miles of the 3 mile *Walk Away the Pounds* DVD. After my BIG day of exercise yesterday, my backside and thighs are so sore I can barely stand to sit down! : 0

Hubby and I are going to do some gentle strength training in just a bit with light weights ... along with the *Keeping Fit In Your 50's - Strenght* DVD.

No biking tonight ... backside needs to recover!

Not a whole lot of exercise today.  I did however make me a exercise journal and a food journal so that I can get back on the right road.  I need to become accountable again and once you have allowed some bad habits to creep in it is hard to get back on track.  I'm starting on both of my journals in the morning.  Please keep in your prayers for strength and patience to get back into my good habits and the fire/zest I had in the beginning.  Thanks for all your support.
  Surgery date:  March 3, 2008 

Weight lost since surgery:  40 pounds
Total lost pre and post op:  68  pounds
Weight lost from my highest:  82  pounds

Wynotha, I will definitely keep you in my prayers for your efforts. I truly understand how hard it is to get into the habit of daily exercise and food journaling. I've almost gone the other extreme and I'm afraid to basically take a day off.

I'll be praying for both of us to have a healthy perspective and strong commitment to our new lifestyle and getting healthier and staying balanced in the process.

And, it's super that you're getting all organized. That's a big and important step!
