Me and the CPAP

So far, so good.  My dog was totally cool with it--course, it helps that she's old, deaf, and can only see from one eye.  Hubby was working last night doing security, but to be sure he didn't totally miss out on the experience, I sent him a cell phone picture of me all hooked up.  Surprisingly, he came home alter work! lol!  Actually, the machine was very quiet and more comfortable than I feared it would be.     I was all stressed out today, but upon reflection, realized that it was just feeling so rushed about getting all these appointments in.  I had received a letter from the cardio doc and will have to have an additional appointment with him due to me being "vintage".  Ahem.  Dr. Gorospe's office sent a letter to meet with the dietary people, and then another shrink appointment......I think that was all that was bothering me, just the time factor.  So I realized that the doctor's office has done this many times before and if they say it can be done, I'm sure it can.  I'll just go along for the ride.    Thanks for all the suggestions on what to take to the hospital.  In case anyone wonders, I will NOT be packing the wooden spoon.  Now I am off researching protein stuff, using (naturally) old posts from here as a reference point! The CPAP is a little like trying to sleep with a serpent attached to your face.  I'm hoping to ditch that sucker when I see the pulmonologist on 8/15!  Be gone, evil thing!  (but I did feel better and I really like getting oxygen to my brain and heart!)
