Hello everyone!  I'm finally out of the hospital and doing pretty good.  I'm not craving food or wishing on food porn like I normally would.  My belly is grumbling all of the time...but it's not hunger..lol I need to give a BIG set of hugs to you guys who spent countless days  and hours trying to entertain me.  I'll never forget the selflessnes of our own Ruth who was there to put up with the nurses griping at me for my "non-conformist" ways.  Rita made me laugh all the time and passed the days away with humor.  There are a ton of nurses who tried their best into the best way of doing things, but ultimately, i did what I needed to until time to leave. All of you made this journey easier for me from the point that Kim stole me away from the other forums to Liz giving me updates about what to expect when it was my time to have the event! Anyway, you guys and gals are wonderful and I had a terrific time during my stay at the hospital....except....  yes..yes...laugh if you want...  my "non-conformist" issue.... it was all about how they wanted me to pee.  yes..I know..how funny...   everytime I went to pee, the nurses wanted me to use the cup thingy and I just didn't feel like I wanted to do that....and...ummm...  I kept falling asleep on the  toilet because of the pain meds, so I'd always wake up to someone yelling "Thomas, you doing ok in there?"  hehehe.... Oh well I never said i was easy!  Well i'm gonna get back to some sleep for now, but i wanted to thank all of you who put me in their thoughts.  It means a lot to me and will always appreciate it. T.

Well, now at least you can "eliminate" however you want. I'm sure Rita has some kitchy phrase for that too. Ok, I'm going to Google right now to look that other one up. I about gagged at breakfast the other morning when someone had gravy. Glad you're doing well. Miss talking to you. Let me know if you need anything!!! Cindy

Dude, It's about time... I was thinking you might have decided that you liked it there with all the lovely ladies hanging around watching over and catering to your every whim - oh, yeah, and they had drugs there, too..  On second thought, I guess that really doesn't sound so bad... maybe I should have stayed in there one more day myself.  But seriously, I'm glad you're feeling better and on your road to your new life.  It was great to get to see you at the hospital and spend some time chatting.  I'll be wishing for you to have the best possible journey, and I'll be expecting you to keep us updated regularly on your progress. Keep on sipping and walking - you'll be on mushies before you know it! John

Bought freakin' time you surfaced!  I thought maybe I was going to have to visit the witch doctor here and have him send some ju-ju your way!!! Sorry that you've had a rough time of it but hope you're feeling better.  Just remember that every day gets a little better.  You'll be a new man in the next month.  Probably at goal!  LOL! Take care of yourself!
