Ok, I've mixed protien powder with iced coffee before....but this combo is lovely.

1 scoop matrix (it's a supplement not a meal replacement) vanilla

1/4 cup dry powered milk

1 shot of chocolae SF syrup

room temp coffee-leftovers are ok

mix in an ice tea sized glass (at least 16 oz for all that powder)

Add ice

Top with some FF whipped cream or whatever works for you sugariwise

Find a comfy chair-it's THAT good

that sounds awsome.. i got to try it, printing it off for Dennis to whip up for me later! he is expementing with protien drinks for me...lol.. he will be a professional WLS chef by the time I have my surgery... lol.. his latest project is to figure out how to get me to eat fish...lol.. gag!! I honestly try to eat it.. i just cant!  I hate that disapointed look he gives me when I cant take that second bite. He has done his "research" and decided that fish is the best meat to eat after surgery.. lol.. somedays I wish my kids were not smarter than me... lol

I love fish, but I had some fish once the waiter said people who don't like fish will eat.  Steam some salmon or if you really hate fish, something mild like cod or orange roughy.  Put some mash taters in a ramiken, put the fish on top it, sprinkle a little cheese on the fish, top with some more mash taters and bake till the taters are brown on top.

Now, I love fish but I was balking at fish and cheese-it just didn't appeal to me.   Ohhhh, it was good!

You'll have to watch the quantity of taters, but if you wanted and you liked cauliflower, you could use whipped cauliflower instead-in fact, it would be more than fabulous with the cheese and you might not even notice the fish.

Help me out here....I hear everyone talking about their broth and then the protien shakes....Couldn't a person put unflavored protein mix into the broth and have a creamy soup?? Or is that not allowed? I'm not there yet, so I'm unsure...but I thought that sounded half way good. Also a good way to eat fish is to mix, fresh lemon and soy sauce and add garlic salt to the mixture. You have to taste it to get the perfect balance so  that it's not to soy tasting and not to lemony. pan fry the fish in that or baste it onto the fish while broiling and you will never know its fish! Oh and a little thyme in the pan too. Flounder, Cod, , Orange Roughy,Talapia have a very mild taste, not to fishy. Lemon also takes out alot of the fishiness of fish....Good luck!

The broth is usually for when you are on clear liquids.  When you are on full liquids, inflavored protien and broth is pretty tasty-especially with a little chili powder or hot sauce for some spice.....Same for mushies-I mush up something, then add protein powder.

I would definitely do protein powder before moving into meat protiens-your body has to kind of work up to meat-even when the texture is soft.
