Hi Everybody I'm new --I'm ready to do this

Hi my name is Erica and I have been lurking for a long time and decided that its time to start posting .  You guys are awesome you have such wonderful advice .  I'm from Texas and I will be having the sleeve on July 30th and I'm starting to get nervous, yet I'm very excited and ready.

Welcome Erica! This group is the best! Never have I found a group so close knit and welcoming as this one! My surgery is on July 7th. I am more excited than nervous, but I am sure I will get nervous as time gets closer.

Hey Erica-I livedin the DFW area for a lot of years.  You have some great exercise resources down here-some of the best bike trails known to man or woman, and a chick/beginner friendly environment.  Plus, now you have the Okie connection going on-i see a bright future ahead for you.

Glad you came out of the closet !!  Just a warning -- Dr. B is a biiiiiiiiiig LSU fan -- but cute.  And, there are some biiiiiig OU fans on this site, too.  Don't know what they're like during football season.  But, as far as weightloss buddies, this is the place.  Everyone is very supportive.  Can't wait until you're loser like the rest of us.  Lynette

Hi Erica! Welcome! I have 4 grandkids and a daughter living in Frisco oh and a son in law, so I know you are making quite a trip to do this! Yes this board is great! I don't have a date yet, but will soon. This has been my salvation right now. Stay close and read and read!! It's well worth the time!
